Bo Park
President

During her 14-year Public Relations career, Bo Park has held senior positions at top global PR agencies and Fortune 500 companies, providing services related to corporate communications; media relations; crisis and issues management; internal communications and brand marketing. Ms. Park has counseled clients in various industries, ranging from Fortune 1000 to Internet start-ups. She has had extensive experience with product launches, event planning, rebranding and large-scale media campaigns.

Ms. Park was formerly vice president of communications at Gemstar-TV Guide, a leading media, entertainment and technology company. She was responsible for managing communications to support the company’s business and
financial turnaround, including executive and internal communications, financial and business media relations and transaction communications (M&A and divestitures). In addition, Ms. Park acted as a company spokesperson and editor-in-chief of a multi-award winning employee newsletter.

Previously, as director of communication, Ms. Park was responsible for all development and execution of public relations for Cablevision’s highly controversial start-up business, the VOOM satellite service. She spearheaded an award-winning consumer and technology media relations campaign with a leading PR agency, generating over 500M positive consumer impressions within an intensely urgent and challenging business environment. Additionally, she served as the primary spokesperson for Rainbow DBS, while managing the challenges of a company under attack by the business media as well as the financial community.

Prior to joining Rainbow DBS, Ms. Park served as vice president and senior media strategist for the corporate practice at Ogilvy Public Relations. In this capacity, she provided ongoing counsel for Deloitte & Touche’s crisis and eminence communications amidst the post-Enron/Andersen environment. The program included CEO visibility, corporate positioning and media relations. Other clients included Bryan Cave, BP, Allied Domecq and DHL.

As managing director and senior vice president of the corporate issues practice at Weber Shandwick, Ms. Park focused on corporate and crisis communications and media relations work for clients such as American Airlines; Avis, AT&T Wireless; Chiquita Brands International; NetRatings, Ingersoll-Rand, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Prudential Insurance. She also played a key role in branding and launch programs for Dot Com clients including About.com, Adornis.com, Monster.com and WAND.com.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Park was vice president and account supervisor in the corporate practice at Ketchum, Inc.; an account supervisor at Golin Harris and an account executive at Edelman.

Ms. Park majored in English Literature at Barnard College/Columbia University in New York and is fluent in Korean and proficient (Berlitz Level 6/7) in French.

Mr. Orfanos also served as a corporate lawyer in large New York City law firms specializing in mergers & acquisitions and securities laws. Mr. Orfanos received his J.D. from Boston University, his D.D.S. from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and his B.S. in Biology from Adelphi University.
